Upcoming purchase.
« on: February 07, 2017, 09:04:31 PM »
Hello all.

I have been considering a S1000XR for a while now (long term BMW R series man) and I have an option on a nice example from a BM dealer near to me. I am taking the bike for a test ride later this week and will probably buy her.

Looking forward to getting involved in the forum.

All the best,

Colin.

I did the same and here I am! Ok my test ride was in summer 2016 and the decision I made it just last week made the trade in right away. I am quite pleased with this purchase. I know I have most of the R "living" inside the XR plus I have the XR features so it is a good change for me.

Hope test ride goes well and decision making too.

Still have the 1100 and the R&D goes on just that now I don't have to share it :002:,see you have sold yours ping me an email on the PM and we'll do a catch up.

As for XR's as you can imagine I bought a non ESA which for anyone in it for the long haul is advantageous.
