Tank bag recommendation
on:
February 08, 2017, 07:38:53 PM
Any thoughts on the best tank bag to fit to the XR?
I would probably be drawn to one that locks into a fuel tank ring as opposed to tank covers / strap arrangements.
Thanks,
Colin.

I had a good experience with the Wunderlich one on the S1000R, so I am giving a try to the equivalent model on the XR. Looks ok to me as I don't fancy much big tank bags.

I use the BMW expandable bag. Great bit of kit.

I've just bought the Givi xs319 tank bag, daytrip luggage, very good click off snap on fitting, reasonable price.
Guess it's what you want it for re size

Know its not what you want but I said in mail we don't do panniers so need something that carries more than your sarnie's and mobile

My vote goes to SW-Motech. I use the Micro Tankbag, very satisfied with it. Of course it is not for a long trip, but daily trips can be easy done with it.

Another vote for SW motech - I have used this "city" bag on 4 bikes over tens of thousands of km.
