Wanted - BMW inner bags for panniers
« on: February 20, 2017, 10:47:21 AM »
Just on the off chance - anyone bought a pair, or even a single one, that they now find 'surplus to requirements' ?

Missed a pair on UKGSer cos I didn't read the description properly  :232:
Apparently the 1200R has the same panniers & bags, who knew ?

After over thirty years behind the bars, I’ve still not done it all or seen it all.

Ebay account I get that, I guess that’s why I have no money and lots of stuff scattered around the house!  :157:

As for on BMW logo, so while you’re out on the bike get the misses to get the needle point out and get them stitched in, come on she’s only got the house to clean your three course meal to do the washing ironing plus a full 40 week to do :745: :745: :745: :745:…. Or you could find some iron on ones :084:

I bought a set of those last week (my bike arrives on Wednesday). They are pretty well made and hopefully will fit ok.

Mine arrived the other day & I have to say they're pretty sturdy. Both front & back open with zips so they fold fairly flat for storage. Shoulder strap & front pocket for a bit of paperwork. And little hard plastic 'feet' on the bottom to keep them out of the wet if you need to set them down. I thought they were a little small for the pannier but only got time to go out to the garage today.

Overall they're a pretty good fit with just a bit of space around the top -

The top box bag, which I may or may not take out at night but is handy to stop stuff rattling around in the top box, is an even better fit -

Overall I'm very happy, especially as they're a fraction of the price of the BM ones, and yer man was easy to deal with
