REMOVAL OF PANNIER FRAME
« on: March 20, 2017, 08:18:41 PM »
I have an XR SE with the fitted BMW pannier frame but only use the panniers infrequently. What is the best advice for removing the frame and filling the bolt holes?

Hi, just removed mine this afternoon, I used the bolts that came off with pannier frame the 2 small ones that attached the 2 frames together and the 2  other short ones it's easily worked out. Looks much better with that scaffolding off.

great spot dicey
just did exactly that (used the shorter of the long bolts) to secure the grab rail - & I thought I'd have to get new bolts from BM !!
