private plate or not
« on: March 31, 2017, 05:01:17 PM »
Last year I hit 50 so I was thinking of getting private plate from 1966 "D" reg I think.

Opinions?
After over thirty years behind the bars, I’ve still not done it all or seen it all.

I'm not exactly sure what "private plate" means across the pond but I had thoughts of getting a personalized plate (I choose the numbers/letters) for my bike but:
> Ohio limits MC plates to 5 characters and I couldn't come up with anything I wanted on there that was available
> If you have a hooligan streak in ya, a personalized plate is typically easier for someone to remember should they want to report your behavior. Or maybe an off-duty cop who sees you doing 80 one day might see you again while on duty and remember the plate ;)
> The extra cost wasn't justifiable (to me).
