Stuck in Calais
« on: July 01, 2015, 09:36:01 AM »
Well Tuesday has been & gone & still no sign of my SE. It would seem that the French strike is going to delay its delivery, not only that but I'm due to lead a tour to Italy starting a week from Friday which may also be affected. Looks as if I may be going on my R1 after all!
Scrub that, they just called as it has arrived, but not ready till Saturday for pick up!

You should be able to get the 600 miles in with no problem, get it serviced and the ECU unlocked the following Tuesday. Sounds like an XR is invading Italy in short order.

As soon as I get out the showroom it's off down to Cornwall, I will book it in for first thing Monday morning.
I have another 2 European excursions later in year so should have 8-9000 miles on it by December!
