I had a demo of an S1000XR weekend before last and I loved it. I'm coming from a Fireblade so love the similar-ish power but also the better seating position as well as the "toys".

I believed the full bhuna came in at £14,800 (not including alarm but pretty much everything else). Looking on this forum I saw that Chandlers are recommended so I had a look on their website and went to the BMW "configurator" and it seems you have to add on all the options manually to get to the full spec and it seems that pushes it up to £15,120 - is that what everyone else has found?

The configurator gives you an idea, but the final price will come from the dealer. I suggest you talk to them first (or a number of dealers) to see what they can offer you.

I didn't want all the electric stuff I'm in for the long haul and ESA ain't built for that financial or otherwise so the configurator came to exactly what I paid as I had to custom order it.

If your going to buy EX stock then it won't.

Cheers guys I'll be speaking with Douglas Park (near Glasgow) on Saturday but sounds like it may be worth calling some others - just depends what they'll throw in as part of the deal and what I'd get for a trade in.

I'm a bit worried about going second hand about the vibes issue - meant to be better in the 2017 model I believe. I also need the taller version due to a knackered left leg. Also I do like the blue!

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather....not screaming like the passengers in his car..!
