2017 S1000xr with less than 500 miles
« on: April 16, 2017, 05:45:53 PM »
Well I guess i just miss sports bikes,
Ive only had my XR for a couple of weeks and don't think its for me.

Its S1000xr se the graphite grey and white, low seat and low suspension, factory alarm.

extras inc
full BMW luggage inc tank bag
radiator and oil cooler guards
Just ordered a larger rear hugger that will go with the bike when its delivered.

I know I'm loosing loads of money but hopefully someone will love the bike.

£14500.

For pis send me a message. but its basically a new bike.

2 weeks doesn't sound long enough to properly get to know a new bike. Did you test ride one before you bought?

you need to at least keep it long enough to get past the first service and let them uncork her so you can see her full potential before you decide to sell it.

A lot of bike there at a reasonable price, cant help but agree you need to get the first service done and try again, the bikes friggin awesome. Don't be surprised if you wanging along on your sports bike and you see an XR in your mirrors.. :008:

All down to preferences I guess, I'd have not bothered 15 years ago when in my 30's keeping my blade, age and comfort with the desire to still accelerate fast I think brought many a rider to this beast, i bet the average age for ownership is 48 !

Well i got the bike run in as advised, and yes the bike is better, unfortunately Im still a sports bike person so looks like Il sell the xr, as the bike has now covered 800 miles Il reduce the price to £13000.

The bike is also now fitted with the longer hugger and the locking sat nav mount.

Im in the country for the next week so if you are interested then contact me.

Pictures on request

Well, the bike has now gone so some parts are up for sale.

I have the locking sat nav mount kit with lock that can be coded, I will also supply the spacers and longer bolts.
