Another potential XR owner in Central Scotland.

Currently looking to replace my gsx-r600 and the XR ticks all the boxes so I took one out for a test a few weeks ago and made my mind up, now I just need to get the right deal!

I'd be keen to hear what deals you guys got when buying new?

Sean :)

Welcome Brother. Other than an excellent part ex price on my 07 RT SE with 45000 miles on I had a Nav 5 for £400 and that was about it. Oh they also done an Akro can for £700 and a HP seat for £250 so a saving on a couple of extras so I can't complain :001:

 :400:

Chandler's in Brighton did me the best deal, no local dealer could match and even said they don't know how Chandler's can do it, my thoughts are they won Bms national dealer awards and suspect they got sweetners as a thank you.

I got the best price Px on cb1000r, free delivery and mega cheap pcp, couldn't say no.

Anyway they delivered my bike free whilst on route to Scotland with a new RR, Distance is no issue. Well worth a call, mention Rob from Manchester, John on here followed suit and so did a mate called Gary on a new Gs black, all cracking deals.

Interesting, thanks.

A guy at work suggested giving Cooper Sunderland Motorrad in Newcastle a call too; I'll call them both tomorrow and hopefully have an XR soon!

Have a look at BMW Approved Used.
Got mine last August, 3 month's old, 750 miles, full luggage, grey, like new ex BMW staff bike (allegedly).
Saved nearly £3.5k over list price  :152:

Maybe we should setup a Scottish S1000XR group!

I'm getting mine from Douglas Park in East Kilbride on Saturday. They are doing deals with panniers included and gave me a good trade-in value. I did try Chandlers in Brighton as recommended on this forum and they were good to deal with but couldn't quite do as good a deal.
