NAV 5 with Apple Mac problems
« on: April 18, 2017, 05:57:57 PM »
I am having on going problems with the connection between my Mac and NAV 5. I keep loosing the connection despite the NAV 5 being plugged in via the cable to the USB port.

Anyone else having this problem??

All I can think of is:

1) Dodgy connection port at either end or the lead itself.

2) MAC is turning off the power to the port or the actual connection.

I've not connected it to a mac either but in addition to the above, I would try a different cable and/or a different USB port.
If that doesn't seem to work, do you have issues with anything else plugged into that port on the Mac? If not, the port on the GPS may be flaking out.
