Hi to everyone,

New on here , picked up used S1000XR last week from a local bike shop, wasn't my intention to originally buy , went to test ride a R1200RS . It was sold when I arrived so I took this out and chuffing heck it's Fast ,my idea was to slow down a bit ,  part exchanged  my TL1000R which to tell the truth I couldn't get on with ,dealer gave me such a good price it was a no brainer . So much for slowing down 😊

Now all I've got to do is decide if I keep my Z1000 which I bought new in 2004
Still a lot to learn about the bike but up to now very impressed

Welcome Brother. Funny how things turn out as the RS is a great bike but completely different to the XR :001: :001:
Not surprised you got a good price for the TL R as they are a good bike and although not the cult following you get with the TL S widow maker they are still sought after. Enjoy and if you can I would keep the Zed :152:

 :400: Sheepy,

Plenty of roads north of you to play with for sure, XR and slowing down don't really feature together I'm afraid, just depends how hard you accelerate through the gears, 3 figures come far too easily... :164:

I was out on the roads North of you last night, certainly plenty of roads to play with up there and the XR will put a huge grin on your face there!  :063:
