Shortened Stock Screen
« on: May 09, 2017, 12:04:29 PM »
After getting a couple different aftermarket screens (Puig Touring and Race) that were both improvements in their own way over stock but not ideal each in their own shortcomings. I decided to take my stock screen and cut it down.

I now have clean air from my shoulders up and no buffeting.

I painted the back side flat black and will have a friend do a custom design on the front protected by ceramic pro, then Ill add some black edging along the top to clean up the look.

At last someone with a some sense !  :001:

It never ceases to amaze me why people are always looking for the holy grail of screens when it's the pure existance of a screen that is causing them problems. Of course it does not work for everyone as we are all different shapes and sizes but smoothing out the airflow without a big screen can work really well.

Good on you for being brave enough to take that route  :028:
