XR, XR Sport or XR Sport XE ?
« on: July 04, 2015, 01:01:11 PM »
Just curious as to which model people are ordering ? I'm looking at the XR Sport as I'm not really planning on touring with it so the pannier Fastenings & luggage grid are not needed. Not sure how useful the on-board computer pro would be or the dynamic esa as I ride solo 99% of the time. I would like the centre stand and GPS preparation though. I've emailed my BMW dealer and asked how much the extras will cost fitted to the XR Sports.

That's the price I was also quoted from the dealer. They seem to pop up on e-Bay quite often, so once I have the bike I'll look out for a second hand one.

Ordered. Almost as cheap as the 2nd hand units on e-bay. I paid £430.70 delivered. Happy with that.

I ordered a Sport SE, I couldn't see the point in ordering anything less.   :007:

I've also ordered a Nav 5 from Fridemotoshop but am still awaiting despatch.  :192:

Have you got a delivery date yet?

Went into the dealers for another go on the xr and they tell me they have had a cancellation and my bike is being PDi'd now and I could have it as soon as Monday !!

Nervous times as I wait to see if the finance deal goes through   :114:

I've got a provisional date of 25th July for bike delivery. I've also got the following week booked off, so fingers crossed!

Just checked my order status on the Nav5 & its still listed as "in preparation".
I placed the order on Monday, so am wondering if they're out of stock?
