Sad news today ex World Motogp  champion Nicky Hayden died from his injuries sustained in a cycling accident in Italy. Great ambassador for the sport saw him race many many times.

def sucks, he was a gentleman in both victory and defeat, hard to find a better example to rep our chosen sport.

Read the very sad News on the Guardian site this morning.

Just thinking about him smoking up the rear of that 990cc Honda RCV 211v great moment.

Thoughts and best wishes to all of Nicky's family, friends and loved ones at this tragically sad time.

Very sad to hear about this - hopefully he and Marco will be having some fun up there now.
