Does the ignition have to switched on for the power socket to work ? Tried the Optimate dual usb charger and nothing worked, obviously I have not tried it yet with ignition on.  :084:

Yep. It's so that you don't leave stuff plugged in that will drag the battery down

I needed a larger amperage powerlet that would run my heated liner without upsetting CANBUS, so I wired a powerlet on the dash via a Fuzeblock

I set it up to be constant power, so now I have one of each.
