crash bars v crash bungs - whats your thoughts & what are you using ?
I'd be interested in any 2nd hand (but not crash tested please  :008: ) or either looking for a home

I fitted wunderlich crash bars. These were the only bars that didn't involve shaving a piece of my plastic somewhere. I looked at SW Motech and BMW. Rejected idea of bungs because I thought bars gave my legs greater protection.

There's a vid on the other channel of a certain gent throwing his XR down the road as soon as I saw that realised it was a one horse race and bought the BM option but if your a mechanical numbty I'd pay a.n.other to fit them.

I bought mine secondhand so I'm not sure if there is a reverse tenplate when purchased new but if not would make life a lot easier if there was.

Exactly the same, was prevaricating over what bars to fit until I saw that vid. Easy choice then, even though they are asymmetrical.
