I haven't got an s1000 XR yet so was wondering what the warning light that came up was for?

Looks like low fuel warning to me, the gauge only has 1 bar showing.

If you look when the warning light comes on the display changed to what fuel range there is.
Just above the KM it will show FUEL you cant really see it in the video

Why would "anyone" want to "ever" use 87 Octane for their S1000XR?  :112:

I live on a small city on brazil,no Podium(premium for you ) gas here.....and if has, the 95 oct fuel here is more them 1.5 EU the liter......

The dyno results with 87 oct shows no lost of power, and the video like prove that.......

My friend here has a 2014 RR 39.500 km aways with 87 oct,no problem until now.... ( But i belive lost a few ponies on RR  engine.)

On my chevy camaro 6.2 i use 100% ethanol, low modification, just change the injectors and tune for use a 105 oct fuel, and is very cheap 0.8 EU/L

S1000 XR "USA" manual says on page (6/102) "Recommended Fuel Quality" PREMIUM GRADE UNLEADED. If you want to run yours on 87 Octane, its Burger King, have it your way. However, most high-performance engines benefit from "highest grade octane". Also, IMO/ just saying, when you go to sell your XR I hope you let whoever is interested that you've been using 87 Octane. :084:
