What's the best cleaner or restorer for the black plastic lower fairings... To keep them looking good .

I use Back to Black which is designed for car bumpers and wheel arches
Works brilliantly a can lasts me about 12 months.
Buy it at my local garage.

How often do you do the lower fairings does it last a while ? Does the heat from the engine / rad affect it when it's applied I assume these lower fairing get reasonably warm when the bike is running. Doesn't streak or anything!

Probably do the black about 5 or 6 times a year. Keeps it nice but does wear off especially as I ride all year and do high mileage.

After every wash I polish the whole bike with Mr.Sheen and its great on the black plastics
I need to return some videotapes.

I use Honda polish on everything - plastics, paint, etc. and it looks decent.
