I was checking the bike over before a trip to Spain and spotted this
The rubber bumpstop for the side stand had come out of its locating hole on the stand and had attached itself to the stand bracket!
I fitted it back into its proper place on the sidestand and put the stand up, then back down and it did it again. A couple of drops of superglue on the bumpstop seems to have cured the problem.
