Puff of White Smoke at Startup
« on: August 18, 2017, 01:45:02 AM »
I have a 2016 XR.  Occasionally at cold startup, I notice a small puff of white smoke come out of the exhaust. This does not always happen.
Anybody else have an XR that does this?

Condensation its a trait of all petrol engine some are worse than others my Tiger and 1100s will do it for 10 minutes if I leave them ticking over and for the less technical it's why exhaust pipes on diesel cars last so long because the do not produce water to rot them.

Mine does this as well. Especially if I do not start it for a few days and it is very cold.
