Has anyone fitted a radar detector or laser jammer on your S1000XR?

I run a V-1 on mine with a Marc Parnes LED visual sitting right next to the shift light, works great to catch my attention

Of course you do realize that they are highly illegal in all states in Australia except WA..?? Big penalties and loss of points result from their sale and/or use within Aus.

If you're in WA...then go for it..! :028:

You could wire in a K40 but having the detector high and unobstructed gets the best warnings out of them. Never had a cop write me because I had a detector.

Awesome set up! I have one up in my closet I may rig up just like yours. My only concern is the V1 not being weatherproof?  :027:

No, the V1 is not weather/ waterproof.  The TPX is the only one made for m/c's, and is water, and shock proof.

been running v-1s on bikes for well over a decade and def over 100k miles, no they are not waterproof, but carry a plastic baggie quart size and slip it over them with a rubber band, or just pop it off in a heavy rain, a light rain isn't a problem and also, I have more than once gotten one wet enough it shut down. they worked fine once dried out (maybe they all do that or maybe I was just lucky) I own 2 V-1s as I keep one in or on what ever veh. I or my wife are taking.
