 :158: Riding a GSA at the moment. Always wanted one but find it too heavy. The XR seems like a good alternative? Anyone here done the swap?

That swap exactly.

After 10yrs with a couple of GSAs with a total of 50,000 miles on them - I realised I wanted:

Something:
* Smoother
* Faster
* More nimble
* More horsepower
* Retains luggage-carrying capability
* Wasn't batshit-crazy cost.

Have found that my 2016 XR fits the bill over the first 6,000 miles  :028:

Other bikes that may have fitted the bill............

BMW R1200GS LC
BMW R1200r
KTM 1290GT

The only one I give a second thought to - is the 1200r.   ( a much underestimated bike)

Hello Edelect. Don't have any GSA input for you, but I thought I'd say hello and welcome to the forum. Lots of info here, just ask.  :002:
