Clock Change
« on: November 09, 2017, 01:33:42 PM »
I think I already know the answer to this, but I'll ask anyway.

We had our clocks change from daylight savings time, back to standard time this past Sunday. Went out for a ride yesterday and my clock is now an hour ahead. Not a problem, just a little annoying. On my Versys and other bikes,  I just had to push a few buttons to remedy this useless annoyance of a time change. Do I need the diagnostic tool or the dealer to reset the clock on the XR, or is there some secret way I can do this myself? I'll be buying the diagnostic tool for the 6k service, but not quite there yet.

Also, when I check the auto brightness box on my nav 5, it will not allow me to check the box unless the unit is on the bike. Is this normal?

Thanks

Use the setup menu or set the clock to pick up from the satnav time.  It's all in the manual.

Thanks Scotti. I will do so.  I thought I'd need the 911 tool for this.  Glad I asked.  :002:

Things work well when you read the book.  :001:  All is well now. Thanks again Scotti.  :002:
