I purchased a leather seat cover from here: http://r.ebay.com/O6u1mh and had a local upholsterer fit it to my original seat for £50. The colour suits my bike much better than the HP XR red embroidered seat.

I've got the faster red colour, with added white wheel rim stickers so gone for the same as ur's but white accents rather that blue.
I must be mad as bound to prove a paint to keep clean but hey............ you only live once !

Not sure if this is of interest to you op, but I saw a you tube video about a company who produce and fit custom seat covers, the video was of a S1000xr.

Going to give elite seats a go as fairly close to me so can 'ride in' for a tailored fitting
