Hello from the States. Live in North Orange County of California.
Been lurking for awhile, decided to join.
Long time rider.
Own a 2016 XR in Granite Gray. Most competent M/C I've ever enjoyed.

If you smile when the light goes on in the garage, you made the right choice.
The first motorcycle race happened right after the second one was made.

Glad you like the motorcyce you bought.  But, this is a forum dedicated to Extreme Rafting (XR).

Not sure we all know much about motorcycles, but we're happy to have you here anyhow.

Welcome, OC Mike. Great choice in getting the XR, and glad to hear you are happy. For me, its more comfortable (solo riding) than the R12GS, not to mention more fun and exciting.

In addition, living in Dana Point/ South Orange County, and with Palomar, Malibu, and the Crest being about 70 miles away just to get there, I find the XR is the perfect all day, do-it-all machine, that will also stay with (and in the hands of a good rider can beat) virtually any sportbike out there below 130 MPH +/- which is where 99% of the action is on the real roads of life (not the track).
