Pipe Werx end can.
« on: December 23, 2017, 09:06:09 PM »
Has anyone got or seen a Pipe Werx end can. I've ordered Akripovic headers and thinking about going for a PW stainless end can. I'm going to fit a Givi rack to use the panniers I already have so I'll probably need to make sure that the exhaust and panniers aren't too close together. Pipe Werx do a short can so maybe that would be my best option.

Looking at the two photos - I think the exhaust gas might impinge on the pannier, or even that the can shown might prevent the pannier mounting.  If the short can allows pannier fitment - I reckon it will burn a hole in the pannier.

I like the style of the Werx can though!

(do a search for "werx" as I am sure if someone has fitted one - they will have mentioned it?)

Think you've left it too late for Santa though.......   :001:

You might be right Mareng1 it does look quite high, with any luck the Givi panniers will sit higher on the rack but I'll need to fit the rack and do some measuring before I order the can.

I hope Santa will have some other parts for me.  :440:

What Givi boxes?  Trekkers?

I have the Trekker Dolomitis, and suspect that the normal Trekkers will be similar height?

The rack sits at the same height on the same rack, and for the Dolomitis - there is an adaptor on the upper rail.

It's Monokey panniers that I've got, the slots for attaching them to the pins on the rack are at the bottom of the panniers so they shouldn't be much lower than the rack, maybe an inch or so.

I was also looking at the Delkevic but hadn't seen any reviews on it, the Pipe werx is £100 more but not sure if it's worth the extra, how's the bild quality on the Delkevic Dicey?

I haven't seen any videos of the Pipe Werx can that I'm thinking about 81Lambo but I'm sure it will have a fair howl along with my Akrapovic headers.
