New jacket or keep using it
« on: January 22, 2018, 09:32:05 PM »
I've been a Triumph owner for nearly 20 years but recently bought the XR. I have a really cool leather jacket made by Alpinestars but has massive Triumph logos on the front, sleeves and back. So now I'm thinking.. should I keep using it (or does it looks dumb), get a jacket thats not bike specific or consider BMW gear?

Will the stitching come out?   Even if you have to put it into a seamstress to do?

Otherwise- just kid-on that you have a Triumph at home  :028:

I'm told the logos are glued before stitching and leaves all sorts of marks.

Haha.. maybe a reason to buy another bike.

I wear my triumph 1 piece on track stall, Daytonas have gone and I now ride a Honda :-)

I have thought about getting the Triumph logos taken off, however life is too short to worry about that.

I also have the triumph pants but the logo is only on the zipper. They are awesome and a little stealth in the branding.

Okay.  Stop thinking about it.  Wear the Triumph gear.

Firstly, Triumph makes very nice clothing.  They are branding the gear as a performer every bit as proudly as they brand the motorcycles.

Secondly, if your riding outfit matches your motorcycle, you're advertising to all the other riders out there that your mother dressed you for the ride today.
