Waynexr1000 - welcome!!!!!

I feel this is a great forum.

IMO (one reporter's opinion) the XR is virtually perfect/ complete and can be used/ ridden & enjoyed right off the showroom floor with no aftermarket accessories needed (particularly for riders 5'9 to 6'2). However in the same breath, there's always room for change and improvement, and some have worked/ remedied handlebar vibes (not an issue for me on my 2016), also get a different seat, windscreen, exhaust, power commander/ booster plug, also various carbon fiber bits and pieces.

As for me (everyone's different), all I've done to my XR (I really didn't need to do a thing, unlike the previous motorcycles I've had) is get an MRA Vario touring screen (for me it provided about a 30% improvement), Oil & Radiator guard, Front Fender Extender, Headlight Guards, GIVI ES5119 Kickstand footprint enlarger, and a yet to receive HP Chain Adjuster, which hopefully make my chain adjusting a bit easier/ quicker compared to the stock one.

Anyway, enjoy what is my opinion one the best, right off the showroom floor (don't really need to do a thing) do-it-all motorcycles around.

Good comments and opinions guys
Only thing I will probably do is swop to puig adjustable levers
Also I always suffer with my back side didn’t know they do a high hp
Seat which I wished I had I keep sliding down to the tank
Mind u I’ve only ridden in textiles so far so maybe not so bad once it earns up and I can swop to my leathers
My niegbour had a new multistrada delivered today so this summer will be interesting  :007: can’t wait for weather to get better so I can actually get rid of my chicken strips
