Hand guards on Ebay
« on: January 26, 2018, 01:43:27 PM »
Has anyone had experience with these hand guards:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Hand-Guard-Protector-For-BMW-R1200GS-2013-R1200GS-Adventure-2014-S1000XR/172581610245

It's been quite cold here and a bit more hand protection than the BMW guards provide would be welcome.

Hi,

While I've no experience with those, I bought the ones from the following link, which fit inside your existing guards, and provide considerably increased protection than the standard guards:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00KQQ5NQO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Super-easy to fit, and well made.

I just fitted the ones for the GS to my XR. Do a great job. Need another pair for my GS now  :003:

I thought that as well!  :187:  Mind you, since getting my first BM in 2014, accessories do seem dearer than other bikes I've had (italian and Japanese).   :006:
