hello from Cumbria

Hello
Just recently got rid of my vfr 1200 as I was finding it hard work on the roads in Cumbria, it didn't know just quite what it was , a sports or a tourer ,To me it was neither just fast but uncomfortable on wrists, hands and back, since I hit 40 I think
Used to have a KTM 660 and when I test rode the xr I got that feeling again "ride it like you stole it" what a machine, was well impressed, unbelievably quick, comfortable, handling everything about it really.
Don't think I'm going To regret this purchase
Cheers bazza

Welcome to the forum Bazza!
You're right....this bike is a hooligan in sheeps clothing. Haven't been this excited about a bike in many years!
Did you get the red?

Many people ride.....but for a select group of people it's more than a ride....it's one of life's great passions.

Cheers
Yeah kept looking at colours before I made my choice, every time I did I was pulled towards the red
I just thought it looks better with the black

Welcome mate... I found myself drawn to the red every time... I'm doing my nut waiting on this bike... I'm contemplating asking for another test ride just so I can get my fix lol
