Has anyone done a paint job on the OEM luggage?
on: February 12, 2018, 08:28:10 AM
Not picking my new SE up until March but I've ordered it with BMW Graphite hard luggage (you can tell I've come from a GSA!). It looks so bloody boring though  :180: especially as I'm having the HP paint scheme. Just wondered if anyone's done a paint job on them? I'll start trawling through the gallery in a minute but someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

Aye thank you!
What a long strange trip it's been...

Hi mate, maybe look at graphic sets? Cheaper than painting it a number of colours,  :305:

Yup, very sensible LAMBO281.   :047:

I will try Googling "Motorcycle Graphics Sets" and spend a few hours looking at search results that bear no resemblance to motorcycle graphics sets!  :001: :001: :001:

Because I’m still very helpful,

Another post on here about this with pictures on the bike, may work out cheaper and will suit the colour scheme to the bike

Thank you very much

Martyn I'm in the same boat, HP color scheme, grey luggage. I'll be pissed if they make a scheme to match in a few months lol. Maybe we just need that blue paint code.

I bought the grey luggage with my red bike, I figured it would be easier to sell(if I get to that stage) as a 'neutral' colour. I am however going to vinyl wrap them (as well as the bike).

Have you guys thought about wrapping, or some form of vinyl stickers. Probably cheaper and less permanent than a paint job.
