Hi all,
new member here from Belgium.
Looking to buy a new XR very soon.
Just waiting to get a test ride en decide if its good for us or not.
Riding with a Honda vfr1200x for the moment but wanted a bit more power/comfort.

Hello
Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will be impressed with the XR on the test ride although the difference between your Honda V4 engine and the in-line 4 of the XR will be noticeable. Power to weight ratio is much higher on the XR so its very fast with terrific acceleration but it's also comfortable and I think it is a great touring bike as well. Good luck

Hi Well you will certainly notice the power increase, as for comfort I find the XR okay. but not having rode the Honda I do not know what the comfort level is with that. One thing for sure the XR is very versatile and excellent for fast rides or just plain touring....

I find the performance of the XR will be better than the VFR, as will the ergonomics - particularly if you are tall.
However, the VFR is smoother beyond compare.
