Just bought my new XR last month and can't wait for some warmer weather to get out in it more.My first impressions after more than 40 years of biking is that this is a hooligan's machine and loving it all the more for that!.The handling and performance are brilliant and so light weight compared to prevous bikes makes it al the more fun to ride

Hello Jonesi and welcome to the forum. I'm waiting for warmer weather too. In fact it's snowing again as I write this.
Congrats on the new XR.

The ‘XR doesn’t actually need DRY weather. Just comfortable enough to be in the saddle. I find that the “Rain” mode delivers exceptional confidence in wet conditions.
Then, Bree, who encourages dry weather in the above post, does not instill exceptional confidence in most conditions.

This is how I move the bike around in the wet..

No.
Bree smokes too much, and I have a taste for spoiled cheeses. We'd never last.
I believe that Bree and Snatch spent some time getting to know one another. However, Snatch tends to rent himself out at times, so I'm not sure it was a meaningful relationship.

Its been hard going, two in and throwing across the big pond. Up to NY for a bit of rough and down to Saint Paul for some sophisticated inter action ( Plus quite a few beers and the occasional Pie ) my heads in a spin
