Rad/oil cooler guard
« on: April 03, 2018, 12:38:27 PM »
Sorry if this has already been covered but which radiator/oil cooler guards are best. I have noticed there is a large difference in prices and I have also discovered that some of them are tie wrapped into position and I'm not really keen on the idea of a plastic tie wrap being part of the last line of defence for the rad.
Thanks In Advance

Lots of reviews/opinions on this forum. Can't go wrong with Cox or R&G, but if you want cheap just have a look at the Chinese eBay stuff.

I am very happy with the look, fit, and finish of the EVOTECH guards.

Cheers;

Thanks Eric, I have just found them from a previous thread. They do look like they are decent quality and not tie wrapped into place!! I think that is the one for me  :152: :152: :152:

I fitted a set off eBay r and d racing or something like that he supplied tie wire with them but I cable tied doesn’t rust 34 quid for both so well made they would stay on by themselves

radiator racing guards for mine probably same as waynexr1000`s mix of cable tie and lock wire, guards are a good fit and about £35 cant go wrong imo.
