Vibrating mirrors on motorway - 17MY XR
« on: April 04, 2018, 10:13:19 AM »
I've got a 17 model year XR that has some vibration through the bars at motorway speeds. I don't mind it too much to be honest, but the mirrors vibrate too much to make them useful. Everything is just a blur in the mirrors.

I know you can get aftermarket bar end weights, but I'm not sure which ones are the best? Or whether aftermarket mirrors are the best way to go?

Any advice is appreciated, thanks

Evotech or Cymarc either will do there is an American option but why to expensive to bring over here wait long enough secondhand heavy bar ends  turn up on a regular basis either here or eBay.

Maybe a couple of dozen ball bearings on the right hand side will cure it. ??? :001:

Fit a smaller sprocket on the rear....will take the rpm out of the "buzz" zone at motorway speeds. :028:
