Check your clutch lever for play and check switches under it.
.914x.6096x.914. Only if she is 1.6002!
Sounds better in us measurements.

Good call but their good I put Rizomas on last year and they have worked perfect from day one just seemed odd rebooting the system did the trick and it’s been good since comes as a shock when you don’t have the QS  :005:

I have had this happen once or twice in about 9000miles. Standard levers.

Not happened recently so not sure if ECU firmware was upgraded at service etc.

Thanks for that,I had been messing about on the way to N/W I rode the 75 miles in top gear including slowing for roundabout etc cuz with my new found fuelling  it go to nearly walking pace and will still pull in 6th and I was wonder if the electronics were showing their displeasure  :002:

Just wondering: did it quit working at all range of RPM?

I ask because I've never experienced this, but believe the QS feels very different depending on the motor speed when I hit it.

My QS varies as well but over all works pretty dam well speed wise?? Was coming off a roundabout( we don’t intersections) probably 40/50 and it wouldn’t Change I had to knock the throttle off.

I find the performance of the QS variable - some changes up or down, particularly in the higher gears are excellent others are not so good even though the parameters seems to be almost identical.

What do others find? Is there a magic technique?

I've had my 2017 bike 2 weeks. It did it a few times on the last ride. I called BMW. The guy said it is a known issue by BMW and they're working on a long term fix. In the meantime they'll have a look at mine. To do what I don't know, he wasn't too knowledgeable. The bike has been out 3 years I find it odd it's still an issue.
I checked the clutch lever, both switches look to work fine.
I mentioned to BMW about any reset I can do myself (each gear for 10 seconds going up the gears, something I read on here). They said no there's no reset I can do myself.
Anyway I'll have it in next week for them to have a look.

Better than other QS ive tried on other bikes. Mine does occasionally miss a change but it tends to be more at a cruising speed or just Mooching about.
