Sure you can discuss other bikes here! I jumped on the H2SX SE at the motorcycle show earlier in the year and it felt good. The ergonomics seemed to suit my shape and the thought of all those horses is tempting... and the rideaway price in Aus is $35k compared to the XR at around $29k. That extra 6 grand buys you that awesome supercharger, Givi Panniers, LED cornering lights and headlight, TFT dash - but you miss out on semi-active suspension and gain some weight. The great thing about forced induction though is that through tuning, you wont be limited to the measly 5-10hp gains we normally see on an atmo engine.
I need to return some videotapes.

I've been threatening to take one for a pedal at my local Kwaka dealer....although I've not seen one in person yet....a 200hp+ S/T bike is tempting though..

Agreed....Have been on some of the H2 SX forums and they're talking silly numbers after a remap....240+ ponies  :005: Actually, it's not the HP I'd go for, it's the stupid exponential increase in torque.....they pump out 101lb-ft in stock condition as it is :086: ....a 20% increase in torque would definitely be something to behold, tyre shredding would be an understatement.. :086:
Our XR only has ~83lb-ft of torque...and we know how well they accelerate...!

While at the dealer last July, I saw an H2 on the dyno at sport bike day. It came in at 215 hp.  :005:  Cool looking machine. I was tempted, but I can't even use the XR's power around my area.   :013:

Yep, very much so, as long as you do it in the "Bikers Chat" board, which is where you are  :152:

I had a lengthy conversation with a tuner last year about H2 remapping and he tells me that as the engine reaches higher RPM, the secondary throttles start closing and limit power to the "conservative" 200-ish horsepower - where the H2R allows the secondary throttles to remain open, allowing it to achieve 280hp. A simlple re-map and a higher flowing exhaust was all he needed to do and the standard road bike was making H2R power levels.

Noice.
I need to return some videotapes.

And there’s me thinking of buying an R90s because the thought of a bike making money is far more appealing than loosing it.  :001:
