How many injured or worse this weekend
« on: April 14, 2018, 06:11:42 PM »
It's that time of year again, unfortunately all the guys that don't ride through autumn and winter are back out with a vengeance. All day long bikes have been screaming around here at crazily insane speeds. Been 2 bike accidents locally today that I know of thankfully no on fatally injured yet but I'm sure there will be by tomorrow evening.
Great ammunition for the anti bike brigade and as much as I love bikes I can see why people get pissed off with the behaviour of these clowns.
Luckily I can ride everyday so tend to keep weekends for family and stay away from the madness.
Hopefully everyone will get a couple of weeks riding under their belts and calm down a bit.
Ride safe guys 🖒🖒🏍🏍

And the "boys in blue" are certainly aware that with the first rays of sunshine and the end of winter, the madness begins... same every year, most probably in every country around the world...
Life always offers you a second chance... it's called "Tomorrow"...

Riding in groups creates competition, be it 16 to 60 odd, all about observations otherwise.

Police stats for bumps at junctions phrase 'Looked but didn't see'.

So the driver is looking in your direction, doesn't mean that they have seen you, for me..."watch the front wheel"..if it moves-react...
Therapy...

You'll never see a motorbike parked outside a psychiatrists.

The same mania occurring here.

Personally, I stick to slower back streets for the first few weeks.

Did a ride out on Sunday mixed bunch of bike types, six bikes in total, 235 miles mixed roads mixed conditions.
Counted them all you and all back in again.
No problems.

After over thirty years behind the bars, I’ve still not done it all or seen it all.
