I've noticed the status of many posters being XR Pro or XR Member or XR Junior, plus a couple of XR Administrators.  Wondering what made one worthy to be promoted from Junior to Member I went searching.  I found nothing on the FAQ or anywhere else but I did find the Members list.  The Members list shows the status of each member.  As best I can tell one's status is based on the number of posts they've made - thus this post to test that.  It looks like you get promoted from Junior to Member after 15 posts (maybe 16).  And promoted to Pro after 100 posts.  Just for us curious types.

Maybe this is cheating but I'm replying to my own post just to see if it increments my "post count".

It does! It does!  Replying to a post counts as a post and puts you one step closer to a level up.  I've only got 2 more to go to get to Member (or 3).  Wait, that will be just 1 more after this reply.

Just to say something XR-ish.  I took off my Ilium bar risers - that is had the dealer take them off.  They were crimping the cables and I was worried about damaging the bike.  Also they re-routed the right side lines and that caused interference with full-lock to the left.  The right side looked like it was also painfully stretched on a full-lock turn to the right.  After restoring the handlebars to original mounting and routing they make full-lock turns without issue.  I think I can live with the slightly forward positioning of the bars; I'm getting used to them.
The other mod I cancelled was the engine bars.  Turns out they require a mod (cut) of the fairing and I'm not willing to go there yet.  I'll wait to see what other options come out over the next year.
