Switchgear backlighting
« on: August 16, 2015, 04:45:51 PM »
Rode my XR for the first time at night yesterday and noticed that there's no backlighting on the bar switches. Am I missing something......??

No, you're not. I've never seen a bike with backlit switches. Maybe look at the road, at night, rather than the handlebars! :001:

With the number of BMW switch failures/problems I've had over the last six years backlighting would probably only be one more thing to go wrong.  It'll be great if they can just get a set of basic switches to work right from the get go!!   :002:
Many people ride.....but for a select group of people it's more than a ride....it's one of life's great passions.
