    Booked my bike into local workshop for fitting a pair of Dunlop Roadsmart 3 tomorrow.

    Went out to the garage to strap them on the back, and found that not only was the Metz Roadtec 01 tread finished at 5,000 miles on the rear - the rear had picked up a nail on Saturday. 

    That’s how it should be - puncture after 5,000 miles and the bike ready to be re-tyred  :047:  :305:

    Just ordered a set of these for my K16GT, hearing good things.

    Be interested how they go on the XR, may well get them for that as well.

    I try to tread carefully, when the tread on my Tyres is getting low. So a bit tired of hearing tiresome stories about tyres, although I am tied to the tyres that I use. At this rate I will soon tire of this thread.  :156:  :001:

    I've tryed not let this thread get to me but I find this subject very deflating.
    You guys are so full of hot air.

    The roadsmarts have been great so far about 800 myles in.
