Puncture!
« on: May 08, 2018, 08:11:45 PM »
Booked my bike into local workshop for fitting a pair of Dunlop Roadsmart 3 tomorrow.

Went out to the garage to strap them on the back, and found that not only was the Metz Roadtec 01 tread finished at 5,000 miles on the rear - the rear had picked up a nail on Saturday.

That’s how it should be - puncture after 5,000 miles and the bike ready to be re-tyred  :047:  :305:

Are you decompressing in your flat, tired of these traction-less jokes?

Just ordered a set of these for my K16GT, hearing good things.

Be interested how they go on the XR, may well get them for that as well.

I try to tread carefully, when the tread on my Tyres is getting low. So a bit tired of hearing tiresome stories about tyres, although I am tied to the tyres that I use. At this rate I will soon tire of this thread.  :156:  :001:
