De cat link,pipe
« on: May 16, 2018, 06:31:30 PM »
Does anyone use a decat link pipe, I dont want a complete system just want to lose the catalyst had one on my last gixxer. Saves a load of weight and the xr needs that and frees up a little noise to  :164:

Nothing around I can find mate. I spoke to SP engineering they said they could cut the car out and make a pipe, didn’t really like the sound of cutting as no going back

Danmoto make a decat pipe to suit RR / R but not XR.
I can't imagine its too hard to have it modified to suit the XR muffler.

I need to return some videotapes.

If you can find someone to gut the pipe professionally (usually an exhaust specialist) then it can be done. I had mine done here in SA, and there was no need for a decat header pipe. Cost me a fraction of the price too.
