Standard foam & standard size. I removed the seat from the bike and only noticed the "wrinkle" when I removed the sheepskin cover I'd been using on a trip to Scotland last week. It may well disappear when the seat is fitted to the bike. Here's a close up photo:

I’m always suffering with a sore arse and I’ve spent hundreds trying to solve it I’d say I’ll have it but might not do the trick again

I suffer too but found that a sheepskin cover helps enormously 😃

I have the same cover on mine, but in black & white to 'match' my red bike !!
I sealed the leather with 'shoe leather waterproofing' spray as the guy who fitted the cover recommended it as leather holds water like a sponge.
Cheers

I bought one of these,  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seat-Cover-BMW-S-1000-XR-15-16-Tourtecs-Cool-Dry-Mesh-Ready/391747202391?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649  Due to a very small hole in the seat cover.  Very good and easier than trying to recover the seat.  Seems better than the sheepskin route.
