Strange one to explain because the Arai rain visor isn’t made for retail, why Arai refuse to sell them over the counter is anyone’s guess,Arai do actually make them for the V but you’ll need to be well connected to get one,the ones forsale in the link are certainly old racing stock but on a day with poor weather theirs nothing better,

One of the ones for sale is a dark visor, but for (most) road use - when it is heavy rain - there is usually low light conditions accompanying the rain.

Be interesting to see how good this is.

I’ve used the light tint version for years i’ve Never been a fan of dark as in black visors, when the new Arai V came about the end of 16 and my old RX7 still had plenty of life left in it I demanded all my suppliers old stock  :001: as he was using the new V but I have to say the new anti fog visor from BHV could give it a run for its money at 28 quid just a shame it doesn’t have the rubber seal at the top which really makes a difference in wet.

After a few cockups by Parcelforce - finally got the visor.

(still got the inner protection skin on it in the photos)

Seems like a snug fit with the rubber strip along the visor-top.  :062:

How old is your Arai? Try and work out if this visor will see the life of it out otherwise i’d Buy another they are an absolute addiction they are that good,BHV sell them at double what you paid and their not making much at that.

These came from Crossans (is that thevisorshop??).

Arai is 3yrs old, and yes - that's good advice (I bought 2  :028:).

But, for most rides - the standard (albeit - dark) visor is fine for me.
A mistake I have made in the past - is investing too much in visors.

Cheers  :028:
