For what it's worth I wouldn't go the route of using a 200 on the rear tyre. Might be great on the track but for everyday riding you are going to find the handling less responsive into corners, and much harder to get rid of those chicken strips!

Is there an insurance issue with fitting a non-standard tyre size?   (UK)

Better off going down than up [if it fits], I run a 180/55 on my daytona 595 instead of a 190 and you can definitely notice the difference in turn in.200 would be horrible! (in the uk).

It's an interesting thing, 180 tyres are basically for rim widths of 5.5" - 6.0"... 190's are usually similar ~6.0" and 200's are 6"-6.5".

So technically the 200 can be run on a 6" rim without issue. When I had a 200 Michelin RS on mine I didn't really notice much difference as the tyre itself was only a mm or two wider than the 190 M9RR I have now....and to be truthful, I doubt I'm good enough to be able to tell the difference anyway.  :012: :027:

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather....not screaming like the passengers in his car..!
