Extended warranty

My Xr is two years old come August and i am seriously thinking about taking out some form of extended cover,BMW or AA/RAC etc,thoughts anyone?

Could you not extend your BMW cover? Recently bought a 2015 XR which came with 2 years BMW breakdown cover.
If your not going to thrash it leave it in the garage !!

I almost did it with my gs it was 387 quid for 12 months in the end I traded in and bought new but I’m sure if u buy a second hand one u still get two years and bmw emergency services

Mine was £455 last November. So BMW obviously think its risky to insure :-)

Its not cheap and I nearly chopped it in for a new one. Mine will need an 18K service this year and another chunk of warranty payment, so not entirely sure what to do.

Nonsense that you only get a two year warranty with a new bike, should be three.

Agreed it should be 3 years.

Buy a brand new motocross or enduro bike for about £8k and you get zero warranty which is terrible in this day and age. Honda used to and may still offer 6 months if you get it serviced at a dealer which makes it pretty pointless.

I had a recent quote for Warranty & Breakdown of  £ 382.19     
Everything  Will Be Alright In The End, If Not Then Its Not The End.
