Power bronze Standard Screen
« on: June 13, 2018, 04:29:58 PM »
Anyone fitted the Powerbronze standard screen to the XR and are they the same size and shape as the original BMW one ? The images on the website would suggest they are the same but would like to hear from someone who has got one. Are the fit and finish good.

I bought the adventure sports screen (335mm) which I think was slightly smaller.
Fits & looks fine, here's the buts - lots more wind buffeting over 85/90 mph and if you ride in a group or prone to getting stone chips they splinter quite easily. Picked up 3 star bursts in 3 months.
So I managed to bag a mint genuine tinted one on eBay for similar money - much better quality as you'd expect.
Cheers,
Charlie Spiceboy.
