Loop around Lake Riano from Potes is fantastic and worth a day. My route runs from Cosgaya where we normally stay but is just a dead end run to Potes from Cosgya.

Will agree one of the best days run in the Picos . I always stay in Camaleno just a few klicks from Potes and a bit before Cosgaya. Thats a great road up to the Cable Car. So do not mind the run down to Potes.

If the wind stays like it is today the very best of luck,we have a return ticket from Bilbao in September with absolutely no idea how we are getting down there or even where!! But if the weather is like it currently is I feel a ride back through France coming on my other hates that crossing with a passion.
