Givi under rack storage bags - anyone used them?
on: July 14, 2018, 06:43:07 AM
I was at a bike meet the other week (Broadway) where I saw another XR with one of these under the luggage rack (anyone here?)

Has anyone used one? can you get much in them? I only had a quick glance at it, but it looked pretty nifty and wondered if it was worth getting rather than always having a tank bag on.
Any thoughts?

That’s neat. Did it fit the XR OK?

It looked to fit ok, but was hoping someone on here had some experience of them and could give some info on them. As I mentioned earlier, I only had a quick glance at it.

Not had any experience with them. But I did convert an old tank bag to do the same thing. Worked really well. And saved me £59.00 .

Would cover the rear keyhole though - only an issue if you need to take the seat off
I need to return some videotapes.

Constantly - at least 10 times every ride.
I need to return some videotapes.

I had the Wunderlich version on my GS, it was very useful, usually carried tyre plug kit and extra tools when touring.
