Which end can?
« on: July 17, 2018, 09:32:46 AM »
I’ve been told that changing the can and remapping transforms the XR, the Akro is around £1k, so big outlay if it doesn’t improve the Performance seen others around £500 on eBay.

Just done 2k miles around Scotland and loved the noise already, just need a bigger screen to stop my head being battered 😂

Transforms it into what?
I'm sure it's more than enough bike for the average rider unless of course you are MM93!

Just my personal opinion....but I think the Akro muffler looks worse than the stocker. It's absolutely huge.

@feeb, lol I’m no Marquez but do think the xr is strangled at low revs and needs to breath, I’ve been told it’s because of the EU emissions on the std can

@Smithy, I’ve not seen many XR’s with aftermarket cans, when looking some also interfere with the luggage space.

If my Xr can stay with a  ZX10R from a standing start then it certainly aint strangled.  :305: :305: :305:

I've got an Akro and it's no beauty but I got it 2nd hand.
I do like the Bos one though.

I picked up an AC Schnitzer cheap and it ticks all the boxes for me.
Sounds great, looks great (thats subjective) and is well made.
Nice carbon end and cover plate

I need to return some videotapes.

Check out BOS exhaust for the XR. Had mine on for a few months now and really like it.  :152:
